The back of the house

The sliders, the glass pavilion, the skylight over the kitchen. Film goes on the inside face of each pane and takes the edge off the heat, the glare and the fading, while the garden stays in view.

The front of the house

Bay windows, sidelights beside the front door, the leadlit fanlight above it. Most owners want to keep this glass exactly as it is, and film lets them: it sits on the inside, it is low-reflective so the street sees the same front, and it can come off again.

Leaded and textured panes are looked at in person on the measure. We do not promise film on leadlight before we have seen it.

If your house is a heritage item or sits in a conservation area, ask us, and ask council before you change how the front looks. We never tell you film is approved or exempt.

How we measure

Every pane is measured and written into a schedule before anything is quoted.

  1. Measure

    We walk the house with you, pane by pane, and note the glass type, the room and what you want changed.

  2. Cut

    Film is chosen for each pane on the schedule and cut to that pane, never to the window as a whole.

  3. Fit

    Most film goes on the inside face; anti-graffiti film on a shopfront goes outside. Edges are trimmed clean to the frame, with floors and sills covered while we work.
