Units or houses, suburb by suburb
Where most homes are flats or apartments, a job starts with the strata committee, the lift and the building manager. Where most are houses, it usually starts at the back of the house, with the stacker doors and the skylight.
The share changes within a few streets. In Gordon and Lindfield the apartments sit by the station and the houses a street back, and East Killara, beside Killara, is almost all houses.
